Barcelona achieved a decisive 5-2 triumph over Real Madrid in the final of the Supercopa de España, which took place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, marking the inaugural trophy of the Hansi Flick era.

Real Madrid gained an initial advantage with Kylian Mbappé finding the net in the 5th minute. Nevertheless, Barcelona quickly leveled the score:

- Lamine Yamal netted an equalizer in the 22nd minute with a deft finish echoing the style of Lionel Messi.

- Robert Lewandowski successfully scored a penalty following a foul on him by Eduardo Camavinga, giving Barcelona a lead.

- Raphinha increased the advantage with a header that came from a cross by Jules Koundé.

- Alejandro Balde contributed another goal before halftime, taking advantage of a rapid counter-attack.

- Raphinha netted his second goal shortly after the second half began, displaying remarkable dribbling abilities.

Despite being down to ten players after goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny received a red card for a foul on Mbappé, Barcelona continued to exhibit control. Real Madrid did manage to score another goal via a free-kick taken by Rodrygo Goes, but they were unable to reclaim the deficit.

This win signifies Barcelona's 15th title in the Supercopa de España, further solidifying their record in this competition. It's particularly remarkable as it marks the first instance in which Barcelona has scored four or more goals in consecutive El Clásico matches, a milestone that had not been accomplished since Real Madrid did it in 1963.

Manager Hansi Flick commended his players’ display, stating, "The team executed our strategy flawlessly, demonstrating both resilience and creativity. This victory reflects their commitment and effort."

Real Madrid's head coach, Carlo Ancelotti, recognized the loss, remarking, "We began well but lost our defensive structure. Barcelona took advantage of our errors, and we must learn from this situation to enhance our performance in upcoming games."

The match took place at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah as part of the Spanish Football Federation's efforts to promote Spanish football on a global scale.
