Mahama Will Rule Better And Ghana Will Move Forward Again-Archbishop Duncan Williams

Archbishop Duncan Williams took part in a National Prayer and Thanksgiving Service organized by His Excellency John Dramani Mahama to mark his victory in the 2024 elections. John Dramani Mahama emerged victorious over his primary contender, His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President under His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo. During the church service, Archbishop Duncan Williams offered a deeply moving prayer for Mahama, placing his hands on his shoulders as a sign of spiritual support and blessing.

Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams highlighted the distinction between the drive to win an election and the skills required to govern a nation effectively. He expressed his unwavering belief that, with collective faith, divine intervention, and the support of Ghanaian clergy, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama would lead with wisdom and fulfill the expectations of the Ghanaian populace. The Archbishop urged all Ghanaians, particularly men of God, to unite in faith and prayer to ensure a successful tenure for the newly elected leader.

Furthermore, Archbishop Duncan Williams predicted a bright future for Ghana under the leadership of John Dramani Mahama. He declared that Ghana would regain its momentum and experience significant progress during Mahama’s regime, offering hope and reassurance to citizens eager for positive change.

John Dramani Mahama is no stranger to leadership, having previously served as Ghana’s President for a single four-year term. Born on November 29, 1958, he is recognized as one of Ghana’s most influential political figures. His first tenure as President spanned from July 24, 2012, to January 7, 2017. Upon the passing of President Mills, John Dramani Mahama assumed the presidency on July 24, 2012, completing the term and later contesting and winning the 2012 elections. His leadership during this period earned him a place in Ghana’s political history as a determined and capable leader. Now, with a fresh mandate from the people, Mahama is set to begin another chapter in his political career, aiming to guide Ghana toward renewed prosperity and growth.
