Teen arrested after boy, 12, dies in stabbing.
A 14-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the fatal stabbing of a 12-year-old boy in Birmingham on Tuesday.
The victim, found with severe injuries near Scribers Lane in Hall Green shortly after 3:00 PM GMT, was taken to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
West Midlands Police have launched an appeal for information, requesting photos and video evidence related to the incident. The boy's family has been informed and is being supported by specialist officers.
Detective Inspector Joe Davenport urged witnesses to come forward: "If you were in the area and witnessed the incident or recorded any part of it on dashcam or mobile phone, it's vital you contact us."
The attack is believed to have occurred near the railway bridge by Trittiford Mill Park, a busy area surrounded by homes, shops, and schools in Hall Green.
