Brazilian adult content creator Anna Beatriz Pereira Alves, known online as Anna Polly, tragically passed away after falling from a hotel balcony in Nova Iguaçu, located northwest of Rio de Janeiro. Authorities have launched a comprehensive investigation into the mysterious circumstances surrounding her death.
Reports suggest that Anna had invited two men to participate in a filmed encounter for an adult online platform, but both individuals have provided conflicting accounts of the events leading up to her fatal fall. Despite this, no arrests have been made at this time.
The Baixada Fluminense Homicide Unit, which is overseeing the investigation, is reviewing hotel CCTV footage and has already questioned staff members. Additionally, Anna’s mobile phone is being analyzed for potential evidence.
The results of the post-mortem examination have not been released, leaving questions about whether toxicology tests detected any substances in her system or if there were signs of sexual violence.
According to reports from the Mirror, police have called the case “complex” and are considering all possibilities, from a tragic accident to potential foul play. A spokesperson for the homicide unit stated, “We are conducting a thorough investigation to clarify what happened. It’s a complex case, and we don’t rule out any possibility, from an accident to a possible crime.”
The tragic incident occurred at the four-star Mont Blanc Apart Hotel, as confirmed by local reports. Disturbing footage has since surfaced online, showing a police officer standing over a body covered with a blood-stained sheet, which is believed to be Anna’s.
Her boyfriend, Pedro Henrique, spoke to Quem, a Brazilian magazine, expressing his grief and stating, “If someone is to blame, they will pay and the culprit will be found. She died in the fall. There was no time to save her.” In an emotional tribute on social media, he shared his sorrow, saying, “It’s so difficult without you. As the hours pass, it’s starting to sink in, and the hole in my heart is only getting bigger.”
While the incident occurred on January 23, it was only recently that the case began receiving widespread media attention in Brazil. Anna's friends and colleagues, who had big plans for her future, remain in shock. One close associate recalled, “She had loads of plans. She wanted to expand her presence on social media, and she always spoke enthusiastically about her future projects. This news has left everyone stunned.”
