Nollywood actor Joseph Okechukwu, also known as King Joe, recently attended Donald Trump’s inauguration as the 47th President of the United States. A staunch supporter of Trump since 2016, Okechukwu shared his memorable experience from the event on Instagram.
He expressed his gratitude and excitement, writing, “Inauguration 2025: Honor of a lifetime.” He then reflected on the unexpected nature of the invitation, stating, “I was recently invited to attend President Trump’s inauguration, an honour I never anticipated. Perhaps time and chance truly happen to all under the sky.”
During the event, Okechukwu had the opportunity to meet several distinguished individuals from Trump’s administration. He was particularly struck by their open expressions of faith, saying, “One thing was clear: all of them love God and boldly profess their faith. I don’t believe this is by chance, and I feel blessed to have shared the same space with such remarkable people.”
He also shared his deep appreciation for his connections within Trump’s team, especially a close friend known as “J” from the campaign advisory team, who played a key role in making his attendance possible.
To cap off the experience, Okechukwu proudly displayed a cap adorned with the Seal of the President of the United States, which he received during the post-inauguration celebration. He described this moment as “the icing on the cake” of an unforgettable event.
