Multi-award-winning Ghanaian music sensation Black Sherif’s highly acclaimed single, Lord I’m Amazed, has soared to #10 on the official UK Afrobeat chart in its debut week, making an impressive entry into the global Afrobeat scene.

Released on January 9, 2024—on his birthday—the track has resonated deeply with fans worldwide. It became the most Shazamed song in Ghana within its first week and reached the top spot on the Apple Top 100 Ghana chart. It has also dominated streaming platforms across Africa and Europe.

Known for his raw storytelling, dynamic flow, and powerful lyricism, Black Sherif fuses gospel-inspired melodies with heartfelt verses in Lord I’m Amazed. The song narrates his journey of struggles, victories, and unshakable faith, delivering a poignant message wrapped in captivating harmonies and stirring instrumentation.

Building on the momentum from his groundbreaking Zaama Disco concert in Accra last December, where 23,000 fans gathered at Untamed Empire to witness the 23-year-old musical prodigy, Black Sherif continues to gain worldwide acclaim with his debut album, The Villain I Never Was, and a slew of chart-topping singles.

As he prepares for the release of his highly anticipated sophomore album, Iron Boy, Lord I’m Amazed sets the stage for what’s to come. The album is expected to delve into themes of perseverance, growth, and breaking new boundaries, all while retaining the authentic energy that has made Black Sherif a household name.

In addition to the album release, Black Sherif is set to embark on his Iron Boy North American Tour, beginning on April 4 at the Howard Theater in Washington, DC.

Meanwhile: Veteran Nigerian actor, Chiwetalu Agu, has advised singles to carefully investigate their potential partners before tying the knot.

In a viral video posted on Instagram, Agu warned against making marriage decisions based on peer pressure or desperation. He stressed that marriage should not be viewed as an all-or-nothing commitment and urged those in unhealthy relationships to either seek help or walk away for their well-being. Read more....
