NOLLYWOOD STARS CELEBRATE IYABO OJO’S DAUGHTER’S WEDDING TO TANZANIAN ARTIST

Several Nollywood stars and celebrities have taken to social media to send their heartfelt congratulations following the traditional wedding of Priscilla, daughter of actress Iyabo Ojo, to Tanzanian artist Juma Mkambala, widely known as Juma Jux.

Iyabo Ojo confirmed that the ceremony, which took place in Tanzania on Friday, is the first of four planned wedding celebrations. The proud mother shared stunning photos from the event on Instagram, expressing her joy and excitement for the upcoming celebrations. “JP2025. God, we give you all the glory. One done and dusted, 4 to go. Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Mkambala,” she wrote.


Priscilla also revealed her new name, "Hadiza Mkambala," in a Saturday post on Instagram.


Since then, Nollywood stars have flooded social media with warm congratulatory messages and prayers for the newlyweds.


Actress Funke Akindele congratulated the couple in Yoruba, saying, “A ku orire.”


Omowunmi Dada also extended her congratulations, writing, “Iya iyawo number 1. Ayo, ire, ife, Ibukun loruko Jesus. Congratulations, ma.”


Toyin Abraham commented, “We are warming up,” while Nkechi Blessing wrote, “Iya iyawo fully loaded. We shut down Lagos, Nigeria, next.”


Veteran actor Adebayo Salami shared his well wishes, saying, “Big congratulations to the new family.”


Singer Waje, also known as Aituaje Iruobe, posted, “Congratulations, Sis. May God bless their home with love and grace.”


Other celebrities, including Mide Martins, Mercy Aigbe, Fathia Williams, Eniola Ajao, Destiny Etiko, Wunmi Toriola, Moyo Lawal, Nancy Isime, and comedian Woli Agba, among many others, also joined in sending blessings and prayers for the couple’s future together.


The relationship has also sparked excitement among Juma Jux's Nigerian fanbase, who have shown strong support since his relationship with Priscilla became public. Jux has embraced Nigerian culture, as seen in his hit single "Ololufe Mi," which has gained considerable views on YouTube, with many Nigerian fans sharing their enthusiasm and support for him.
