Actress Regina Daniels has reportedly deactivated her Instagram account amid rumours that her husband, Ned Nwoko, has fathered a child with fellow actress Chika Ike.
Sources confirm that Regina’s account has disappeared from the social media platform. This comes shortly after she returned from London, where she attended the premiere of Ayo Makun’s movie The Waiter.
Speculation about issues in Regina’s marriage intensified when she refrained from celebrating her husband on Valentine’s Day. Additionally, she has not commented on his recent defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
On February 10, Chika Ike shared photos of her baby bump, announcing that she is expecting her first child.
The rumour mill has been buzzing, with some social media users suggesting that Regina should not be surprised by the situation. One commenter remarked, “But why is Regina surprised? She knew what she was getting into.” Another added, “How can wife number six be upset about wife number seven when wife number five didn’t react?”
As a Muslim, Nwoko is allowed to have multiple wives, and he is rumoured to have six in total. However, Regina and Laila Charani, a Moroccan woman, are the only wives publicly known.
Meanwhile: A building collapse in Cairo on Monday resulted in 10 deaths and left eight others injured, with several more feared trapped under the debris, according to state media reports.
