In a recent conversation with Saturday Beats, actress and media personality Nancy Isime shared her take on Valentine’s Day, calling it just another day. She explained that her focus is on her career, saying, “I am a woman who makes money; I don’t have time for that.”

Despite this, Isime revealed that her love life is thriving, stating, “I have a love life that is wonderful.”

When discussing the search for love, Isime encouraged embracing it in unexpected places. “I support finding love anywhere. Wherever you see love, go for it because you never know when or where it might show up again,” she advised.

Looking ahead, Isime expressed her dedication to working hard and staying fit. “More work and I’ll keep the gym life going,” she said.

Meanwhile: Nigerian comedian and skit maker Isaac Aloma, popularly known as Zicasloma, has opened up about the motivations behind his decision to undergo rhinoplasty. He shared his experience with fans in a video posted on YouTube, offering insight into the process and his recovery.

Personal Insecurities Behind the Decision

Zicasloma explained that he had always been self-conscious about his nose, a source of childhood teasing and ridicule. “I’ve always had a very flat nose, and from childhood, I wished I could change it. My siblings would constantly tease me, saying, ‘Your nose is too big or too ugly,’ claiming I inherited too much of my father’s nose,” he recalled.

Despite the changes his nose underwent as he grew older, Zicasloma felt he looked more like his father, in contrast to his siblings who inherited their mother’s more pointed nose. He made it clear that his rhinoplasty was for aesthetic reasons, clarifying that some people also undergo the procedure for functional reasons, such as addressing breathing issues.

Battling Stigma Around Cosmetic Surgery

The comedian also spoke about the stigma surrounding cosmetic surgery in Nigeria, pointing out that many people are quick to judge others for altering their appearance. He also highlighted the contradiction in societal standards, drawing attention to how people often criticize cosmetic procedures while using makeup or braces to alter their appearance.
