Yaw Obimpeh Triumphs in Ashanti Regional Council of State Election
Yaw Owusu Obimpeh, the former Ashanti Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has emerged victorious in the highly contested Ashanti Regional Council of State elections. He secured a commanding 49 votes out of the 85 votes cast, proving his strong support in the region. His nearest contender, Nkansah Boadu Nana Ayeboafo, garnered 35 votes, while Daniel Anarfi Yamoah received only 1 vote.
