Ahead of the upcoming transfer window, Hearts of Oak has entered the competition to capture Evans Osei-Wusu, a former FC Samartex winger.

The gifted winger has not yet appeared in the current campaign because of injury. He is, however, slowly getting back to full fitness and should be ready to play again shortly.

Osei-Wusu, who was instrumental in FC Samartex's league victory the previous season, had an outstanding 19-goal participation, with 11 goals and 8 assists in 27 games.

He is now open to other chances after leaving the club by mutual consent.

Hearts of Oak, who have admired the winger since his time at Tema Youth, are reportedly quite serious about making a bid for him at the end of the current campaign.

In what seems to be a fierce transfer battle, they will likely have to contend with fierce opposition from Nations FC and other interested teams.

According to Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom, owner of the Elmina Sharks, the GFA must accept responsibility for hooliganism.

According to Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom, owner of the Elmina Sharks, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) ought to be held accountable for the recent hooliganism that has taken place in the nation's football scene.

The murder of Francis Frimpong, better known as Nana Pooley, an Asante Kotoko supporter, during the Matchday 19 match versus Nsoatreman FC at Nana Kronmansah Park has resulted in the suspension of the league.

But a few weeks later, the Elmina Sharks and Swedru All Blacks played in the Division One League, and there was mayhem.

Following the final whistle, Sharks players and officials attacked referee Eso Doh Morrison.

In an interview with GTV Sports+, Dr. Nduom avoided accepting accountability for his team members' actions.

"When they do not comprehend what happened, some people claim that the Elmina fans are hooligans based on specific parts of a film. His question was, "Do not grab a clip and say, Should not someone bear responsibility?

"That is the GFA. They accept accountability. They have to ensure everyone's safety. Instead of just taking FIFA money and going somewhere to relax, they ought to make the games entertaining, pay the officials fairly, and compensate everyone generously," he continued.

This week's Division One League matches followed the Ghana Football Association's recently improved matchday and security procedures for the first time.
