Actress and media personality Ada Ogunkeye, better known as Folu Storms, has shared her perspective on love and heartbreak, acknowledging the risks involved. In an interview with Saturday Beats, she revealed, "I am a lover, and I’ve experienced heartbreak. Can you love without risking it? If you haven't had your heart broken at least once, you're not truly putting yourself out there."
Discussing her latest endeavours and advocacy work, Folu said, "I’m currently working on a project called Red Circle, which will be released soon. I have a few other significant projects lined up for this year, but this one holds a special place in my heart."
On her passion for advocacy, she expressed, "I’m deeply committed to supporting women’s empowerment, particularly because of the position I hold as a woman. There are critical issues we face, like healthcare—especially in Nigeria."
She continued, "We can't just wait for the government to drive change; we are the government, we are the country. It’s up to us to take action."
Reflecting on her drive for advocacy, Folu said, "My humanity fuels my passion. I believe life is made up of the simple, small moments, not the big, glamorous ones. We're all just passengers on this journey, and none of us are here forever. If I can make the journey better for myself and others, why not?"
