Rising actress Atlanta Bridget-Johnson, known for her powerful performances in films like Afamefuna and Man of God, has opened up about her views on love and her passion for taking on challenging roles.
During an interview at the premiere of Reel Love, Bridget-Johnson shared her thoughts on her role in the film. "I portray Imani, one of the lead character's love interests. There’s a lot of drama in the film, and fans can expect a blend of love, romance, comedy, and drama. It's a story that resonates deeply with young people today," she explained.
"This is my third project with director Kayode Kasum, and it’s always a joy to work with him. From the moment I read the script, I knew we were creating something special. We had an amazing time making this film."
When asked about her personal experiences with love, Bridget-Johnson responded, "I don’t have any specific experiences with Valentine's Day, good or bad. Love, in my opinion, is universal. It’s not always about romance. I don’t focus solely on love being about a partner or a romantic relationship. Love exists everywhere, and we should all embrace it during this season."
Known for her love of tackling difficult roles, she added, “While I can’t reveal too much about some upcoming projects, I always look for roles that push me as an actor. It’s not that my previous roles weren’t challenging, but I enjoy pushing myself and discovering new sides of myself. My fans can look forward to seeing a different side of me that they haven’t seen before.”
