Concerns have also been raised that the half-time show's length could interrupt the match's flow and detract from the overall spectacle. "If it lasts longer than 15 minutes, it's a disgrace," one disgruntled fan posted. Some fans have expressed fears about what could happen next, with one raising the prospect of Premier League matches being played in the US to further appease the American audience. "The game we once loved is being ruined.

Musical acts have performed at major football matches, such as the Champions League final, before, but they have taken the stage before games. Rock icon Lenny Kravitz performed before last year's final between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund at Wembley.
The time slot is set to switch to half-time at this year's final, with American rockers Linkin Park due to perform in Munich on May 31. The same idea will then be tested at the 2026 World Cup, but it has not gone down well with the majority of fans.
