Ghanaian artiste and music executive, D-Black, has addressed allegations suggesting he has had romantic relationships with female artists signed to his Black Avenue Muzik label. Speaking in an interview on Accra FM with Nana Romeo, the musician made it clear that such claims are entirely false and baseless.
During the interview, D-Black specifically referenced Sefa and Nina Rose, the two female artists formerly signed to his label. He emphasized that his relationship with them is purely professional and that he views them as family. "I promise you, Sefa is my sister 100 percent. I've never even had a fleeting thought to have an affair with her. The Sefa I met is not the Sefa you guys see today. I knew Sefa from 7, 8 years ago, and she's risen. That's my sister 100 percent," D-Black stated firmly.
He went on to address the public perception that he is romantically involved with women seen around him at clubs or on social media. D-Black explained that people often make assumptions based on the company he keeps in social settings, but that does not reflect his actual preferences. "You people think that the women you see around me in the club or on social media are my type. My type of woman is very different. If you see the mother of my kids, she's a doctor. She's never fixed nails before. I'm very into the traditional woman," he revealed.
Furthermore, D-Black was adamant that he has never engaged in any inappropriate or unprofessional relationships with female artists under his label. His focus, he stated, has always been on developing talent and guiding artists to reach their potential, rather than exploiting them in any way.
By setting the record straight, D-Black aimed to clear up any misconceptions about his professional relationships with female artists and reinforce his commitment to nurturing genuine talent within the music industry.
