Nigerian actress and filmmaker Omoni Oboli has received recognition from the Nigerian presidency for her latest film, Love In Every Word.

Fegho Umunubo, the Special Assistant to the President (Office of the Vice President) on Digital and Creative Economy, took to Instagram on Friday to congratulate Oboli and the film’s lead actors, Uzor Arukwe and Bambam, for their outstanding work.

Released on YouTube just two weeks ago, the movie has already garnered over 16 million views and has been trending on social media, with users incorporating phrases like “Odogwu paranran” and “Achalugo” into their posts and memes.

Although the film initially faced a brief setback when it was taken down from YouTube due to a copyright dispute, it was quickly reinstated and has since gained massive momentum, particularly with Arukwe’s performance striking a chord with audiences.

In his post, Umunubo praised the film as a “captivating masterpiece,” noting its impressive achievement of surpassing 15 million views, with expectations of it soon reaching 30 million.

He wrote, “A huge congratulations to the incredibly talented #omonioboli for creating a masterpiece that has captured the hearts of Nigerians! Reaching 15 million views is no small feat, and at this rate, 30 million views and beyond seem inevitable.

“Kudos to the brilliant lead cast, #bammybestowed and #uzor.arukwe, for their exceptional performances that brought this incredible story to life. Your talent, dedication, and passion are truly inspiring.

“Thank you all for pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the Nigerian film industry. Here’s to more wins and continued success! Cheers!”
