In an interview with Saturday Beats, Inojie pointed out that many entertainers tend to measure their worth by comparing themselves to others. He shared his perspective on overcoming struggles, saying, “When life brings you down, your ultimate success is shaped by the deliberate choices you make.

You can choose to stay down, but if you want to surprise people and defy expectations, you have to be prepared to swim against the current. That has been the reality of my journey.”

He further encouraged people not to resign to their fate, despite life's challenges, explaining that everyone with the gift of life has an opportunity to overcome failure. "It’s important to live one day at a time.

The pressure we place on ourselves to succeed affects us during our low moments. Many people constantly measure their worth by comparing themselves to others. Whatever I don’t have today, or cannot afford, doesn’t bother me, regardless of how many others have those things.”

On the topic of success, he added, “All I can say is that we are still on this journey, and hopefully, we’ll reach our destination.”

In a more controversial remark, Inojie recently faced backlash after claiming that some female actors in Nollywood engage in inappropriate relationships with directors and producers to gain fame and fortune.

He wrote on Instagram, “There’s a rise of Jezebel-like daughters in Nollywood, with many female celebrities sleeping with influential men for financial gain. You may see a woman who barely passed an audition suddenly buying cars for herself and her mother, or even building a house after just a couple of films.

Where do you think that money comes from? Many of these women are the ones approaching directors and producers, not the other way around. I’ve had many of them make advances towards me. So, don’t envy anyone, because if some were to share their real experiences, you’d be shocked.”
