After his man of the match performance against Basake HolyStars, Samba O'Neil the Congolese defender has made his way into the team of the week for the Ghana Premier League. He has kept the consistency through out the season and is one of the players to watch in any game Asante Kotoko plays. Samba is making a good name for him self in the team. And after a slow start to his Career at the king's club Samuel Tenedu is gradually and gradually picking up the pieces. The young man from Legon Cities scored the winning goal for the team and also scored his first goal to. All we wish is the spirit of hard work and excellent performances every time. Tenedu has really made a name for himself after the restart of the league, where he has partnered both Justice Blay and Andrew Ntim Manu. All these times he has not really been bad at all. The formation that was selected was a 3-3-4 type. Which makes a statement that over the weekend the attackers did well for their respective clubs. In the few days there would be no division one and premier league football, all focus would be on the FA that would come off in Kumasi on Saturday and Sunday. 

Some good news has been coming from the camp of Kumasi the porcupines as some injured players are returning to full fitness after some time of absence from active football. Names like Lord Amoah, Peter Amidu Acquah, Albert Amoah and Fernando Bassey together with Joseph Ablorh would be discussed, to give you full updates on their progress. First on Albert, he has been under cautious medical care as he was previously training with the youth team on his road to recovering, reports say he is responding well, which gives some possibility of him entering the match day squad against Holy Stars on Sunday.
