On Tuesday night, Nottingham Forest will play Manchester United live on TNT Sports. After beating Brighton on penalty kicks to reach the FA Cup semi-finals, they will be excited to return to Premier League action. Manager Nuno Espirito Santo said playing at Wembley will be "a beautiful moment" after a "stressful" afternoon at the Amex.

We have to focus on the Premier League but it's going to be a beautiful moment for all of us on our journey," Nuno told BBC Sport.

Ryan Yates scored the winning penalty in the shoot-out in front of the jubilant away supporters to send Forest into the competition's last four for the first time in 34 years.

"We are so, so happy. It was such a stressful moment and to share it with our fans, we are so happy," Nuno said.

"It's a huge moment for all of us especially for him [Yates]. He's been here since a young player."

I'm content. We are going to Wembley," he said. "It is amazing for the supporters so I am happy that I could help the team. I am really happy to play at Wembley.

"I'm really happy, but you always need a little luck in penalty shootouts. We must maintain our excellent Premier League performance from Tuesday. "We kept a clean-sheet, we didn't give away a lot of chances. In penalties, luck is required, but right now we're concentrating on Tuesday's important game." With nine games remaining, Forest will now return to the Premier League, where they currently sit third and are on track to qualify for the UEFA Champions League. The first of these matches is on Tuesday at the City Ground against Manchester United. Live coverage on TNT Sports 1 and discovery+ begins at 19:00 U.K. time and starts at 8 p.m. I’m shocked,’ former Manchester United and England captain Rooney said on the BBC’s pre-match coverage when asked about Espirito Santo’s decision to rest Elanga and Hudson-Odoi with a spot at Wembley on the line.

‘I think the FA Cup is such a prestigious tournament and to rest players in the quarter-final when you’ve got a great opportunity to get to the semi-finals… they’re trying to get into Champions League football which is fine, it’s great.

While Rooney was far from alone in questioning Espirito Santo’s bold team selection, the Forest head coach resolutely defended his starting XI in his pre-match interview with the BBC.

The Portuguese stated, "Look, the cup is always a good chance for players who work so hard and don't get minutes in the Premier League," and "we keep this idea." ‘Taiwo [Awoniyi] has been working good and Danilo has been working good. Players deserve their moments.’

Asked how Forest are balancing their FA Cup and Premier League campaigns, he added: ‘Game by game. Today is a tough one and then the next one.’
