An industry where the media and the industry gatekeepers are the ones ‘killing’ artistes career even before their time or the artistes themselves publicly decide to retire from music.
You have a whole tv channel like TV3 Ghana using their platform to make such pronouncement about one of Ghana’s biggest artiste, @Sarkodie, it’s a big shame and very unfortunate that they’ve to promote such hatred and stupiidity towards him.
Tv3 must come out and apologise to Sarkodie for making such unnecessary remarks about his career.
I have always stood against any form of media bias and attacks against our artistes and this cannot be tolerated by what I stand for no matter who is involved.
We shouldn’t allow the media to set such negative agenda and precedent against our artistes.
From the management of tv3 to the last worker at that station, you should bow down your heads in shame and begin to check your standards.
The media is supposed to be a platform to educate and inform people positively to shape public opinion in the right direction.
That is why there is a formal training program meant to train media practitioners on the ethics of the profession to avoid such pedestrian way of putting out information.
Its sad that, these days everyone whoncab speak loud is allowed to be on tv and make unnecessary comments about people all for attention and clickbait.
