Haruna Mohammed Reaffirms NPP’s
Stand Against Drug Trafficking in Ghana
The Deputy General Secretary of the
New Patriotic Party (NPP), Haruna Mohammed, has reaffirmed the party’s unwavering
commitment to eradicating drug trafficking and abuse in Ghana, highlighting the
urgent need to protect the country’s image on the international stage. His
remarks were made following recent tensions surrounding a failed attempt by the
National Investigative Bureau (NIB) to arrest the Member of Parliament for
Assin South, Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, on April 9.

occurred shortly after Rev. Fordjour made allegations of narcotics trafficking

and the Minority in Parliament, who collectively stepped in to prevent the

any form of drug trafficking, regardless of political affiliations. Haruna
Mohammed urged all stakeholders to approach the current situation with
