Full alert in London: Chelsea could be banned from European competitions.

PREMIER LEAGUE

The Times reveals that UEFA would not take into account the sale of the women's team, thus violating Financial Fair Play.

This is how the Premier League standings stand after Arsenal's draw.

A state of emergency has been declared in London . Chelsea could be banned from European competitions as a result of a UEFA sanction for violating Financial Fair Play , as revealed by The Times.

The European body does not take into account the sale of the women's team to a parent company of the 'blue' team (BlueCo) for around 200 million , nor the sale of hotels to the same sister company for another 90 , so the accounts would be in the red and would not comply with the necessary economic regulations. UEFA regulations allow a loss limit over three years of 200 million euros , and Chelsea, if the sale of the women's team is not accounted for, would have 358 million . A total balance of -158 million .

Unlike the Premier League , UEFA does not allow tax deductions for sales to companies or corporations with the same owner, in this case Todd Boehly .

In turn, the aforementioned media outlet reports that the Stamford Bridge team is negotiating an agreement with UEFA to ensure that the sanction is not expulsion from European competitions and that the final decision will be made in May: " Chelsea are negotiating with UEFA an agreement that will likely involve paying a financial penalty and accepting a spending plan for the next three seasons . That plan could include the threat of more severe sanctions, such as exclusion from European competitions for a season if they breach the limits again."
