Mahama Initiates ‘One Million Coder’ Program to Equip the Ghanaian Youth with Needed Digital Skills. Former Ghanaian president John Dramani Mahama recently launched a new program, ‘One Million Coders’, which aspires to teach young Ghanaians critical skill such as coding, AI, web development, and cybersecurity. The program's overarching aim is to equip around 1 million youths with digital relevant skills. Youth Free Training Opportunities Determine the Nation's AdvancementPara Mahama, the youth of Ghana carry the responsibility of determining the country’s future which is why this program was initiated—specifically aimed to prepare the country’s youth for a technology driven era. Additionally, the training is promised to be free while ensuring participants will be certificated enabling them to secure jobs internationally and in Ghana. With MTN supporting the training through its Skills Academy which will offer materials, Mahama’s vision will slowly be accomplished.
