Myles Lewis-Skelly played a pivotal role in Arsenal's thrilling 2-1 victory over Real Madrid in the second leg of their Champions League quarterfinal clash. The win, following a 3-0 triumph in the first leg, propelled the Gunners to the semifinals for the first time in 16 years.

 A Surreal Experience for Lewis-Skelly
The young left-back admitted to being taken aback by the challenge of facing Real Madrid at the Bernabeu. "It was incredible," he said in a post-game interview. "The Bernabeu you see on television is very different from what you see live. The fans don't make it easy for us. As long as we stuck together and backed each other through the highs and lows, we would be fine."

 Impressive Performance
Lewis-Skelly rose to the occasion, playing all 90 minutes and delivering an impressive performance. He completed 83% of his passes, made five clearances, and won nine of his 11 defensive duels.

Semifinal Bound
Arsenal will face PSG in the semifinals, with the first leg scheduled in two weeks. Declan Rice, Lewis-Skelly's teammate, issued a warning to the French champions. "Top team, played them once already. We feel like they're a different team now. We're aware of their capabilities, but we've also seen what Villa did to them last night, causing them lots of problems," he said.

Focus on the Premier League and Champions League
Rice emphasized the importance of balancing the Premier League and Champions League campaigns. "We'll put in a lot of effort. We now have to travel to Ipswich on Sunday, which will be a difficult game because we want to keep winning Prem matches. And also focus on this competition."

 Historic Night for Arsenal
The win over Real Madrid marked an historic night for Arsenal. "It's an historic night for this club. We want to play the best teams and win this competition, so we have a goal for it," Rice added. "We've done amazingly well in this competition, and we have complete faith in our manager." With the semifinals looming, Arsenal is eager to build on their momentum and make a deep run in the Champions League.
