In a match that looks like redemption time for Asante Kotoko, the porcupines have struggled to win a match in their last 3 games. After drawing away to Kpando Hearts Of Lions and also drawing to Bechem United at home then losing to Accra Lions in the midweek. Many say the dreams for the Ghana Premier League title is over but the chase is still on for them. The head coach has made some few comments that is meant to urge on the team, buh many still have believe. Below is the squad that would come up against Nations FC in Abrankese where they have never won a game before. Most of Kotoko's problems are volitional or self inflicted.
People within the club's top hierarchy have turned themselves into internal pressure group and judges of moral uprightness to an extreme degree that everyone within the club must bow to them, else expect to be sabotaged. The activities of these people at the circles front have been inimical to the club's professional growth as most of them still lives in the primitive era and see things in that outmoded perspective; these people see themselves so highly that, they prioritize respect than the club's overall good.I'm not surprised that our Great King, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II constantly ignores circles leadership in his appointment of his recent Board of Directors for the club. The King himself has probably realized how their actions affect the club and overlooks them in his selection of the board in recent times. The current happenings in the club was solely ignited by these same seemingly Pressure Group within the club, to wit, Alexander Manu and the rest closer to the club
