Arne Slot's team may win the title this week—or even tonight. After dominating the rest of the league and leading from the front, Liverpool will win the Premier League in 2024/25, barring a miracle. Arne Slot's team is 13 points ahead of second-place Arsenal after five games. They might be able to win the top-flight title before the campaign ends on May 25. When might they possibly win the Premier League? Liverpool is currently 13 points ahead of Arsenal in the race for the Premier League title. The Reds beat Leicester City 1-0 last weekend thanks to a late goal by Trent Alexander-Arnold, moving them closer to the title. With a surprise 3-2 defeat to Fulham earlier in April, Liverpool's relentless march to Premier League glory has not been without bumps. Despite this, Slot's team has only suffered two defeats in the league and has won 24 of its 33 games. This, coupled with the dramatic drop-off from defending champions Manchester City, and inconsistency from the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea, means that Liverpool are potentially just a few days - or even hours - away from winning the league for a record-equalling 20th time.

In what has been a remarkable debut campaign for new manager Slot, it is certainly a case of when, rather than if, for Liverpool.  Here, we look at how soon they can wrap things up this season.

The Reds have five matches remaining in which to secure the Premier League title.

 Opponent Date

 April 27: Tottenham Hotspur (H) May 3—Chelsea (A) Arsenal (H) May 10

 Brighton & Hove Albion (A) May 18

May 2: Crystal Palace (H) points and can only reach a maximum of 81 points with five matches remaining. One more victory would be sufficient to secure the title for Liverpool, which is currently on 79 points and needs only three more to surpass that total. Liverpool will be crowned champions if they win Saturday's match against Tottenham Hotspur. However, if Liverpool beat Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday, Liverpool could win the title earlier than expected. If Palace hold Arsenal to a draw, The Gunners would only be able to finish on a maximum 79 points - Liverpool's current tally.  The Reds have a +10 superior goal difference, but they would still need another point to guarantee the title.

To summarize, this race is likely to end soon...
