Appiah Stadium Buys a Brand New Samsung Galaxy Phone for Ibrahim Mahama, But He Rejects It.
Ghanaian political commentator Frank Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as Appiah Stadium, returned from his trip abroad with a special gift for his mentor, business mogul Ibrahim Mahama.
Appiah Stadium, a staunch supporter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), purchased a brand-new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 as a token of appreciation for Mr Mahama. However, the gesture was politely declined by Ibrahim Mahama, the younger brother of former President John Dramani Mahama, who insisted that he should rather be the one gifting Appiah Stadium such an item.
Appiah Stadium had travelled to Germany to attend the funeral of his beloved friend and fellow NDC supporter, Evans Amakwah, popularly known as Adwenpahene. After the funeral, he extended his trip to neighbouring countries like the Netherlands, enjoying leisure time with his good friend Kwame Ahenfie, whom he took along.
During his tour of Stuttgart city, Appiah shared a light-hearted video on April 18, capturing a hilarious moment by a small lake. Excitedly watching fishes swim freely, he joked that, unlike in Ghana where they would have been harvested for food, the fishes in Germany seemed eager to befriend him.

According to Appiah Stadium, the entire trip was fully funded by Ibrahim Mahama. In gratitude, he decided to buy the expensive Samsung device as a gift. Videos circulating on social media show Appiah proudly displaying the phone and narrating how much it cost him.
Netizens who viewed the video were divided, expressing mixed reactions in the comments section about the encounter and Ibrahim Mahama’s refusal to accept the gift.
