After a disappointing loss to Tanzania in the semi final of the CAF school championship on Friday, the young boys of Ghana managed to come back from a goal down to defeat their Ugandan counterpart in the fight for the bronze medal of the second edition of this competition.
The 40 minutes match saw them equalise in the 2nd half and score and as well. Head coach Kwaku Danso would now have some joy in himself. Many are now asking for a steady progress for these talented boys so that all these beautiful talents won't go waste as others have just gone under the drain previously. The GFA together with the Ghana education service are to make this happen for the betterment of football in the country.
The truth is that GFA president Kurt E. S. Okraku is really orbiting the right path towards global greatness. He is quietly nursing his reputation on the continental stage by meeting the right people and engaging in acts that seem to project him beyond rejection on the continental stage as far as football politics is concerned.I see Kurt easily ascending a height that Kwesi Nyantakyi couldn't achieve due to reasons that is publicly known.Kurt Okraku will definitely bring home what was denied Kwesi Nyantakyi. Kurt may have his issues internally and may not be your favourite but SAVE this, you are seeing the current CAF president on your right which is Dr. Patrice Motsepe but the next CAF president after him shall be the Ghanaian smart football politician on your left, Kurt Okraku.
Now, Kurt is set to be appointed as one of CAF’s new Vice Presidents as the continental body moves to restructure its leadership.Already the President of the Ghana Football Association heads WAFU Zone B as President and has been successfully elected as a member of the Executive Committee (EXCO) of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) as well.
