An aide to Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has confirmed that the governor will not be joining any political coalition ahead of the upcoming political movements and realignments in the country. The statement came in response to widespread speculation that Governor Buni might be aligning himself with other regional or national coalitions ahead of future elections.
The aide, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, clarified that Governor Buni remains focused on the development of Yobe State and has no immediate plans to enter into any political alliances outside of his commitment to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
