Former President John Dramani Mahama has intensified his campaign in the Ashanti Region with a fierce message: that he is on a mission to reverse the massive destruction caused by the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) mismanagement, especially under the controversial "Agyapadie" document, which he claims has been a significant contributor to the country's current economic woes.
In his interactions with traditional leaders, party faithful, and the general public in the Ashanti Region, President Mahama reiterated that the "Agyapadie" philosophy, which he describes as the formalization of state capture, nepotism, and misallocation of resources, has led to widespread poverty, youth unemployment, and infrastructural decay.
Mahama stated that the NPP, through this unwritten but much-practiced creed, has worsened almost every facet of the economy. "What we are seeing today is no coincidence.
