This just made my day — Jürgen Klopp is planning to be in Liverpool for the Premier League title parade. I mean, even though he’s no longer the manager, the man clearly still loves the club and the fans just as much as ever. And honestly, how could he not?
Liverpool finally did it again — 20 league titles now, tied with Manchester United. What a season. And to top it all off, we’re getting a proper parade this time, with fans actually able to be there and celebrate in full. It’s been a long time coming, and it’s gonna be massive.
The parade is happening on Monday, May 26, and it starts at 2:30 p.m. It’ll go through about 15 kilometers of the city, starting at Allerton Maze and ending at Blundell Street. If you’re anywhere near Liverpool, you’re not gonna want to miss this.
Even though Klopp won’t be on the bus, I think it’s kinda perfect that he wants to just be with the people. It shows how connected he still feels to all of us. He’s not there to take credit — he just wants to be part of the celebration. That’s the kind of guy he is.
Since stepping down in 2024, he’s mostly kept a low profile, but it’s been reported that he’s stayed in touch with Arne Slot, the new boss. And after that 5–1 thrashing of Spurs that sealed the title, Klopp apparently sent over a quick message to congratulate the squad. You just know that win had him grinning wherever he was watching.
I don’t know about you, but I’m really hoping to catch a glimpse of him live at the parade. Whether he’s walking through the crowd or waving from a balcony, just having Klopp there is gonna hit hard. The guy gave Liverpool everything, and now he gets to just enjoy it all with the rest of us.
So yeah — if you’re a Red, mark your calendar. May 26 is gonna be special. Title number 20, a parade through the heart of the city, and Klopp right there in the crowd with us. What more could we ask for?
