Will Viktor Gyökeres leave Sporting CP to play for United?
Victor Gyökeres is a natural number 9 who is one of the best strikers in the world currently and arguably the best currently due to his 38 goals and 7 assists in the Liga Portugal league although the season is not complete and there are more games to play.
Gyökeres who had been coached by Ruben Amorim at sporting CP have had rumors linking him to top clubs in world football including, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Barcelona and even Manchester United who is now being coached by Ruben Amorim, his formal manager at Sporting CP.
He has been linked to Manchester United which got fans talking about him as he is being favorites to join the club despite their downfall in English football. There are rumors surrending his move to Manchester United because of his great relationship with his formal manager, Ruben Amorim.
Being one of the top strikers in the world and scoring alot of goals had made him a very great player because he shows himself in big games. Amorim, Manchester United boss was asked about Viktor Gyökeres and United fans were expecting some excitement from him.
He said; “Gyokeres deal? I didn’t talk to him. But if a player only wantes to come to Man United to play Champions League, then he will NOT come”.
He added; “We want players who want to represent United, NOT players who want to play certain competitions.”
This has raised concerns and issues about what Ruben Amorim said because, Manchester United are having a poor season which might led them not to play in the Uefa Champions League next season. If that's the case from Gyökeres he may not join United but it can also happens that, he will like to join to bring the club back to their perch.
