Arne Slot: Conor Bradley will start at RB ahead of Trent Alexander-Arnold this weekend
There were rumors surrounding Trent Alexander-Arnold leaving his boyhood club, Liverpool which got Liverpool fans annoyed and not happy about his move. He wanted to join spanish giants, Real Madrid after 20 years at LFC.
During the Uefa Champions League group phase, Liverpool has beaten Madrid by 2-0 which Conor Bradley helped Liverpool win that match by defending correctly against Mbappe who couldn't play well.
Arne Slot came out in his press conference to talk about starting Bradley ahead of Trent against Arsenal this weekend. He said;
"We have confidence in Conor as a very good full-back for Liverpool and that is already what he has shown for Liverpool. If Conor was available he would have started against Chelsea, so there's a first chance he might start. Conor will start (against Arsenal), he needs playing time, games under his belt to be prepared for next season. Unfortunately he hasn't been fit all season but to become a good player you have to be fit all season but we have a lot of confidence in him as a very good full-back for Liverpool."
As, Trent Alexander-Arnold announced his departure from the club this week, it got everyone annoyed especially LFC fans. Slot has decided to start Bradley ahead of Trent as far as he will be leaving the club, he is no longer a player for Liverpool.
As most fans say that, he might not live up to expectations at Madrid despite his poor defending and Liverpool are looking into the market to bring in Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen this summer.
