Stefan Bajcetic going back to Liverpool this summer
One of Liverpool’s youngest players, Stefano Bajcetic is set to return back to Liverpool after going on loan at UD Las Palmas at the start of the season.
Bajcetic is one of Jurgen Klopp’s academy players who plays as a defensive midfielder for Liverpool and also as a centre back. After Jurgen Klopp’s departure from the club, Liverpool appointed a new head coach, Arne Slot.

Stefan was one of the players Slot selected to go on loan which attracted buyers from top clubs including Fc Barcelona. Barcelona wants to sign Bajcetic on loan but Liverpool rejected their bid which raised a lot of questions from Liverpool fans.
LFC accepted an offer from UD Las Palmas and Red Bull Salzburg. Las Palmas was the destination Slot and LFC board thinks will be best for him. At the start of the season, Liverpool made no signings and despite signing Chiesa who didn't live up to expectations and signing Giorgi Marmadasvilli from Valencia who was also on loan.
Liverpool needed a good defensive midfielder and Bajcetic was the only option as far as they don't make any signings but at the end of the transfer window, Bajcetic went on loan. Slot has to find a defensive midfielder in Ryan Gravenberch to replace Fabinho.
Stefan had no option than to go on loan and as the season is about to come to an end, Stefan Bajcetic will have to return to his former club to compete against the likes of Gravenberch, Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, and Jones in midfield so that he can earn a place in the strating lineup.
