Pedri is the best Midfielder in the world: Toni Kroos
The former Real Madrid legend, Toni Kroos who started his career for a long time, joined the spanish giants from Bayern Munich where he was very good in midfield.
He was so creative and makes the midfield so strong for other opponents to find it difficult to pass through. At Bayern, he had 205 appearances, scored 24 goals and gave 48 assists. Kroos is a midfield specialist.
He joined Real Madrid in 2014 where he went on to win trophies in the likes of the Uefa Champions League, Laliga, spanish super cup, copa del Rey, uefa super cup, and Club World cup. He had, 465 appearances, scored 28 goals and gave 99 assists before retiring from football in 2024.
On a podcast, he was asked about their match as legend in the next week's game against their rivals, Fc Barcelona and he said;
"Pedri is generally one of those players you really miss when he’s not on the pitch. It’s not just about goals or assists, he brings solutions. Beating opponents doesn’t always have to be done with a pass, but Pedri is one of the few midfielders who has the ability to dribble past players in tight spaces. He might be even more important than Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, or Lewandowski. Those are the players who decide matches, but to make that possible, Pedri is, in my view, currently the best player in the world in his role.”
Pedri who is Barcelona's player and most important midfielder, has helped his side to beat Real Madrid in back to back finals winning the Copa del Rey and the spanish super cup this season.
