Benab FC continued our winning ways with a resounding 5-0 victory over Acceler8z in the highly anticipated Zongo derby at the Baba Yara Stadium.This impressive win propels us to the top of Group B in the Ashanti Regional Middle League table.The match got off to a quiet start, with both teams feeling each other out in the opening quarter of an hour. However, it was Benab FC that struck first, courtesy of a quick corner from Francis that fell to Gilbert, who made no mistake in the penalty box.Five minutes later, Adnan Neymar doubled our lead with a tap-in from close range after a well-worked move by Kyei.Despite our dominance, we failed to add to our lead before the break. However, the lads continued where they left off after the break, asking our opponents a lot of questions.The third goal came in the 61st minute when an Acceler8z defender inadvertently put Kyei's cross into his own net. Maxwell made it 4-0 with a beautiful curler a few minutes later. Substitute Aziz Dembele sealed the win with a rebound goal after the goalkeeper stopped a shot from Narbi Joseph.

This win takes us to the top of Group B with 6 points from 2 games, putting us in a strong position to qualify for the finals.
