Arsenal who was one of the teams that fell off from winning to losing sometime ago, had been revived by Mikel Arteta. Arteta joined Arsenal five seasons now and built a solid team that can compete against the likes of, Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Tottenham in England.
And in Europe, the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and more. Arteta’s side went on to help Arsenal win the Fa cup and the Community shield. Fast forward, he was competing in the Uefa Champions League.
As the 2024/25 season started, they were one of the favorites to lift the UCL but went on to lose it against Paris Saint-Germain. They lost the first leg by 1-0 after Dembele scored at Emirates. In the second leg, they lost by 2-1 and got eliminated in the semi finals.
Bukayo Saka would've brought Arsenal back into the game but he misses a big chance and got them eliminated. Their hopes for quadruple has fallen off to treble, to double, to single and now trophyless.
Arsenal went 3 seasons straight without a trophy despite competing for the Premier League and the Champions league. If the problem is from Mikel Arteta, then the board need to make a change of management.
If it is the players, Arteta needs to find players. They should go into the transfer window and buy players that suits Arteta's system.
PSG will now face Italian side, Inter Milan in the Uefa Champions League final at the Allianz Arena, Munich to decide who is the best in the 2024/25 season in the Champions League.
