Jeremie Frimpong deal is on as he is Trent Alexander-Arnold's replacement
Jeremie Frimpong who plays as a Right wing Back and also can play as a right back is favorites to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold at LFC. Arnold came in to tell Liverpool and the fans he will leave the club at the end of the current season to join spanish giants, Real Madrid.
Liverpool looked into the market and they think, Frimpong will be a better replacement for Trent who is yet to depart from the club. Frimpong has the pace, physical and strength to play in the Premier League.
According to one of the trusted Journalist, Fabrizio Romano, He said;
"Jeremie Frimpong has €35m release clause available this summer too, and can be paid in installments. Liverpool are aware of contract details and they’re in discussion to consider options to replace Trent, with Frimpong understood to be candidate on shortlist. Jeremie Frimpong can replace Trent at Liverpool this summer. Deal is on."
Now, as Arne Slot is a Dutch and a Liverpool manager, having Cody Gagbo, Ryan Gravenberch, Virgil Van Dijk and now Jeremie Frimpong who might join, this will boost Netherlands National team squad.
As Slot look into the next window to strengthen the squad, they are also interested in Milos Kerkez, Bournemouth’s left back to replace Andy Robertson. Liverpool will go into the 2025/26 season as favorites to win the English Premier League trophy again with these signings. Frimpong is yet to decide whether to come in or not but he will join as sources are being linked to the move to happen as soon as possible.
