After leaving the club in 2014 he moved to Bayern before bringing his whole footballing career to an end. But his love for coach led him to offer the courses. What many do not really know is that Xabi Alonso who now in line to replace Don Carlo was handling the youth side of Real Madrid before he moved to Germany to coach Bayern Leverkusen, where he changed lots of this at the club. Especially winning them their first Bundusliga and also winning a DFB pokal for them. This a just a little background of what the man who has told the Germany club his intentions to leave after the season has to offer when he returns to the club of his dreams. And happily for him Bayer did not stress him for his decision. The transfer mogul, Fabrizio Romano has confirm that Don Carlo and Madrid have also agreed on all the exit terms after the season ends.
Good news for him is that the Brazilian nation team has a verbal agreement him to join them after he leaves Real Madrid. To the main issue he also said that Xabi Alonso is likely to sign a 3 year long deal for the club this summer. The only thing that was distracting or slowing the deal was him wanting to come after the club world or wait for it to end before he takes over. Alonso personally wants start on a good note and somehow fears a drop at the competition would dictate his future at the club.
One interesting thing is that he would be coaching his former team mates, Luka Modric whom he played with in 2014 and they even won trophies together before he departed.
As Modric is almost done with his career, it would be great to see him work play under his former play mate. Good luck to Xabi, who in his press conference didn't really want to talk about his next club.
