Trent Alexander-Arnold was booed by some Liverpool fans
Trent Alexander-Arnold who played and lived about 20 years at Liverpool had come out to say he will leave the club to join Liverpool rivals in Europe, Real Madrid last week. After his announcement, most Liverpool fans weren't happy about his decision as he is a local lad.
He let his contract runned out so that he can join Real Madrid even after Liverpool offered him a good offer where he will be the most paid full back in the Premier League. In their match against Arsenal yesterday, after Trent was being subbed on, he was "booed" by some Liverpool fans and also, he was called names like, "snake".
All Liverpool fans wanted from Trent Alexander-Arnold was that, he should renew his contract and let Real Madrid buy him so that it can be a win-win for both clubs same as what happened to Philipe Coutinho. Trent was also accused for Arsenal's second goal as he was onside which led Arsenal to score and draw the game.
He was booed all over the pitch. Most fans say, he should not start any game and also, he should be on the bench as he's no longer a Liverpool player. Trent is currently the defender with the most assists in the Premier league history. With these stats, he should've even renew his contract at Liverpool and also, he might become a legend to have those assists.
Liverpool are looking in to replace him with Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen as he is set to join the club going into the 2025/26 season. Arnold shirts were been burnt across Liverpool and he might not live up to expectations at Real Madrid. His career at Liverpool which was supposed to end well with the Premier League title, it is rather going from bad to worst for him.
