Many credible sources have reported that Kumasi Asante Kotoko is getting close to bringing their former coach who took them to the money zone of the CAF confederation cup and also one time black Stars coach back to the club when the new season begins. Coach C K Akonnor is at the moment the one who leads about 2 expatriate gaffers ( foreign coaches) on the list of the club now. Some where last week it was a different man but this week it someone who is interested in the club and also wants to come back. It's now between C K Akonnor and club legend Maxwell konadu. The phobians are currently pushing for the signing of coach Maxwell, and that's the issue. There's surely going to be a new coach before the preseason begins.

Aboi Young Stars FC protested against Naajo Royals FC for fielding unqualified players in their match.

EVIDENCE

By a protest dated 25/03/25 Aboi Young Stars FC alleged that Naajo Royals FC fielded eleven(11) unqualified players in their match. It attached extracts from the Ghana Football Connect System, photographs as well as a copy of the team sheet of Naajo Royals FC.

The players affected by the protest are Emmanuel Abaidoo (No.1), Elvis Nti (No.10), Mohammed Oduro (No.12), Kingsley Afari (No.14), Francis Opare (No.8), Isaac Sam (No.81), Kadir Issaka (No.11), Aziz Guba Abdul (No.19), Aidoo Joshua (No.3), Bismark Arthur (No.4) and Philip Ewudzie (No.45). Naajo Royals FC did not file a Statement of Defence upon being notified and served with a copy of the  Written Grounds and Statement of Case as provided in Article 35(8) (a) of the Regional Football Association League Regulations, 2021(hereinafter called “the Regulations”). 

The Committee also examined the Match Commissioner and the Referee’s Reports as well as Printout of player's registration from the Ghana Football Connect System as part of documentary evidence in the investigations and also conducted its own independent investigations about the players in question.
