His two goals and one assist in the game against Dreams FC help Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting club get an all important win I  the quest to win the double at the end of the season. Kwame Poku after the match was adjudged the man of the match for the game. He scored the 2nd and 3rd goal and was also instrumental in keeping the defenders of Dreams football club very busy through out the whole 90 minutes of action. He now has more goals that he did in his first season for the club. This was one of the club's best outings in a while. 

But I other games of the Ghana Premier League teams showed resilience through out. Karela united who are battling relegation found a way to beat Medeama sporting club by 3 goals to 1 at the Aliu Mahama sports stadium in Tamale. Accra Hearts Of Oak beat Berekum Chelsea at home after a Mawuli Wayo goal did the magic for them at the golden city park. Vision FC also put 2 goals past young Apostles in Tema. FC Samartex won at home by 2 goals to 1 against Berekum Chelsea. Even though they had a penalty Basake HolyStars failed to win against Kpando Hearts Of Lions. 

He highlighted the tournament’s role in fostering competitiveness and development across clubs, urging all participating teams to build on the momentum as they prepare for the upcoming season.Looking ahead to the GFA Regional Women Championships, Aboabire encouraged both Sisamba Ladies and Oaks Ladies to aim higher and target qualification for the Women’s Premier League.We don’t just want participation; we want our clubs to go out there and win. With the right mindset and support, we are confident Greater Accra can lead the charge in raising the standard of women’s football nationwide,he added.

Greater Accra regional football association reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the growth of the women’s game, emphasizing that continued investment and exposure will drive the sport to even greater heights in the region.
