With preparations seriously under way for Asante Kotoko's game this weekend, the team played a friendly match against Adom football at the Adako Jachie training grounds. The team beat Adom FC by 4 goals to 1, just like they did in the GPL fixture. The goals came from Patrick Asiedu, Sampson Eduku, Samba O'Neil and Kwame Poku. The build up for the game is on and they would seek to do some more work before Sunday. But the club would arrive in Bibiani somewhere on Saturday. The game also saw the club's Nigerian import, Wisdom Fernando Bassey on show and he really did well on the pitch.
This weekend is one that would say a lot for the league, first is a difficult away game for Kpando Hearts Of Lions, big game for Nations FC and the others that would determine the fate of the league.

1. Per Article 35(14) of the Regional Football Association League Regulations, 2021, the protest of Tarkwa United FC is declared as frivolous and dismissed accordingly and that the results of the match in question shall stand.
2. Tarkwa United FC shall pay a fine of One Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢1,000.00) payable within 14 days upon receipt of this ruling as provided for by the Western Regional Football Association’s Administrative Instructions governing the conduct of the Second Division League.
3. Per Article 35 (10) of the Regulations, any dissatisfied club has within one (1) day to appeal after being notified.
