After winning a double in the Greater Accra region. Both the league and the FA title. The female team of Accra Hearts Of Oak have won their first game in the middle league or qualification tournament against Sissamba FC at the Autumn Senya Astro turf in the central region. 

After going down early in the game by a goal. The team did well to equalise in the first half before the ladies of coach Mercy Taigo completed the comeback in the second half. They'll now have to do much to qualify for the women's premier league for next season. They now have 4 more matches to go and are currently placed in the 3rd position after playing the first game. On top of them are Rootz Sistaz from Volta region and FC Samartex ladies from the western region. The top 2 teams get the opportunity to play in the top league next season. FC Samartex came last year and performed woefully this year they've regrouped and would try to do more in other to get a qualification in their second try. Matches continue tomorrow at the Senya Astro turf. 

The Committee also examined the Match Commissioner and the Referee’s Reports as well as Printout of player’s registration from the Ghana Football Connect System and the registration card of the player in question as part of documentary evidence in the investigations and also conducted its own independent investigations in respect of the player in question.It must be noted that per Article 33(12)(a) and (b) of the Regulations, the burden of proof is on the protesting club and so in this instance the burden is on Tarkwa United FC to prove the allegations made.The Committee considered the exhibits as attached by Tarkwa United FC and also considered the Match Commissioner and the Referee’s reports.
