Abdul Aziz Issah, an offensive midfielder for Dreams FC, is a target for Asante Kotoko.
The Ghanaian wonderkid has become one of the Porcupine Warriors' targets as they look to bolster their roster for the forthcoming season.
After a stellar 2023–24 CAF Confederation Cup season for Dreams FC, where the Still Believe boys advanced to the semifinals, Aziz Issah signed a season-long loan with a buyout option with Barcelona before the 2024–25 season.
Issah has played 26 minutes in two games for Barcelona Atletico since joining the Spanish team, giving an indication of his potential that made him stand out in Ghana's youth league.
After Barcelona decided not to exercise the purchase option in Issah's contract, it is anticipated that he will rejoin Dreams FC at the end of the current campaign.
Rumor has it that the Ghanaian powerhouses have begun negotiations with Dreams FC about a potential summer acquisition of the highly regarded midfield player.
It is anticipated that coach Karim Zito, who recently joined Kotoko from Dreams FC, will be instrumental in acquiring the gifted midfield player.
Aziz Issah is presently playing for the Black Stars in the 2025 Unity Cup, which is set to start on Wednesday, May 27.
To strengthen their position for the 2025–2026 football season, the Porcupine Warriors are committed to making the acquisition.

Ghana coach Otto Addo promises that his team will stop at nothing to defeat Nigeria.
Otto Addo, the coach of the Black Stars, has promised that they will make every effort to defeat Nigeria.
On Wednesday night, Ghana will play their 2025 Unity Cup match at the Gtech Community Stadium, reigniting their rivalry with their neighbors in West Africa.
Despite excluding important players from the four-nation event, Addo told reporters that they are aiming for retribution for their most recent defeat and to reclaim the bragging rights for the fans, as they are fully aware of the animosity between the two countries.
"We truly want to defeat them this time because we lost the last friendly. We will have to make every effort to win the game since we are aware of the rivalry and a victory here might rally the supporters," the former Borussia Dortmund talent coach stated.
The 48-year-old also emphasized that, due to the two nations' longstanding rivalry, even if the game is formally a friendly, it carries far more significance.
Although it's friendly, it's not truly friendly. Because it's always about who has a better team, we want our people to be proud of us. Even though it will be difficult, we would like to succeed," he continued.
On Saturday, May 31, the victor will play either Trinidad & Tobago or Jamaica in the championship match.
