Kevin Taylor Gives Ultimatum Over Alleged Gold Scam Involving Mahama’s Image

Ghanaian media personality Kevin Taylor has issued a stern warning to a young man, identified as Williams Anarfi Sarpong, over allegations of using former President John Dramani Mahama’s image in a suspected gold scam. Taylor, the outspoken host of With All Due Respect on Loud Silence Media, took to social media to demand that Sarpong publicly clear Mahama’s name within 24 hours or face exposure during an upcoming episode of his show.

According to Taylor, Sarpong allegedly used an old photograph—taken years ago with Mahama before he became president—to convince businesspeople in Dubai that Mahama was involved in a gold deal. Taylor claimed this image was part of a broader scheme to defraud Arab investors through a fake gold business.

Taylor described the 24-hour deadline as a final opportunity for Sarpong to set the record straight. However, when the deadline passed without any public clarification from Sarpong, Taylor announced he would go ahead with a full exposé.

“You had 24 hours to clear President Mahama’s name, and you failed to do so. You tried to use an old picture with him to defraud Arabs in a gold scam. On my next show, I will reveal everything,” Taylor posted, promising a detailed breakdown of the alleged scheme.

Taylor also hinted that Sarpong was not working alone. He alleged that three companies—JILLRANDAL GROUP OF COMPANIES, WASK GROUP OF COMPANIES, and DADABA GROUP OF COMPANIES—were also connected to the scheme. While Taylor did not provide specifics about the exact role of these companies, his statements have drawn significant public interest, with many awaiting his promised revelations.

As of the deadline, Sarpong had not issued any public response to the accusations. His silence has fueled further curiosity about the case, and Taylor’s upcoming broadcast is expected to shed more light on the situation.

Kevin Taylor has built a reputation as a bold and sometimes controversial figure in Ghana’s media space. His show, With All Due Respect, is known for hard-hitting commentary and exposing alleged corruption and wrongdoing in both political and business circles. Taylor has previously been involved in high-profile cases, using his platform to challenge public figures and demand accountability.

While many viewers admire his fearless approach, others caution that serious allegations require strong evidence to avoid reputational damage and misinformation.

With the latest developments unfolding, Ghanaians are closely watching to see what Taylor will reveal about Sarpong, the alleged gold scam, and the companies he has linked to the matter.

The upcoming broadcast is expected to stir further debate and possibly lead to investigations, as the public seeks answers about the alleged misuse of Mahama’s image and the broader implications for Ghana’s business environment.
