Karim Zito, the head coach of Asante Kotoko, says he wants the team to win the FA Cup.
In the Matchday 33 games on Sunday at Baba Yara Stadium, the Porcupine Warriors came back to defeat Medeama SC 3-2.
The Ghana Premier League season is just one game away, and Kotoko is now in third place with 58 points, behind Nations FC (60 points) and Bibiani Gold Stars (60 points).
With three victories and two draws in five games since his hiring, Kotoko has not lost.
Following the victory, Zito spoke to the media, discussing his goals for the FA Cup and reflecting on his brief tenure.
His words were, "I have done my part," "I have managed to go past this phase after playing in at least five games.
"When I take over, I want to win the FA Cup so that I can be happy at the end and tell the technical director that I gave it my all."
Before focusing on the MTN FA Cup final versus Golden Kicks, scheduled for June 15, 2025, at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, Kotoko will play their final league match against Vision FC.

Nations FC boycotted the game as a result.
Dr. Kyei told Asempa FM, "I was not happy with what transpired at Ayinase, and I have never seen something like it before."
"I will never accept winning a league and someone dying, thus I do not care if I lose the Ghana Premier League title or even get a point deduction.
