Kwesi Asmah, a midfielder for Hearts of Oak, said the team's Ghana Premier League victory over Legon Cities FC over the weekend was not an easy one.

In a Week 33 match at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, the Phobians defeated the demoted team 2-0 on Sunday.

After winning Man of the Match, Kwesi Asmah said in a post-game interview that Legon Cities FC gave Hearts of Oak a hard time.

Following the victory, he promised supporters that the club would put in more effort to score more goals in their upcoming match against FC Samartex.

"Today's game against Legon Cities was difficult. They managed the ball effectively and are well-organized. We achieved the targets and remained calm. That was what mattered most. We are thrilled because we wanted to win, and we did. After the game, Kwesi Asmah told reporters, "Hopefully, we can score more goals in our next game."

To have a chance of placing in the top four of the league table at the end of the 2024–2025 season, Hearts of Oak will be eager to defeat FC Samartex the following weekend.
