Albert Amoah, a striker for Asante Kotoko, has stated that they are not giving up on winning the Ghana Premier League title in 2024–2025.

Amoah scored a hat-trick as the Porcupine Warriors defeated Medeama SC 3-2 on Sunday in the Matchday 33 games at Baba Yara Stadium, continuing their quest to win the championship.

With a game remaining in the season, the Reds' comeback victory has put them in third place with 58 points, two points behind league leaders Nations FC.

"We are pleased with our victory over Medeama." After the game, Amoah released a statement saying, "We are thrilled to take the three points because it is our desire to win the Premier League, but it is not too late."

"They are a very talented team, and we are thrilled to win. Our coach told us that this would be a tough game, so we should fight hard."

The 23-year-old acknowledged that he is capable of more when questioned about his performance.

"I can accomplish more than this, but there is still more to come, so I am not feeling very well. Aside from goalkeeping, I do not really have a unique position; I can play wherever on the field," he continued.

About vying for the goal king title, Amoah stated that there is still time to do so at the end of the season.

"Everything is conceivable, and it is not too late to win the crown." Our final game is an away contest versus Vision FC. For the goals to arrive, we intend to go there and win all three points," Amoah said.

Amoah is now three goals behind Berekum Chelsea's Stephen Amankona, who leads the league with twelve goals this season.

On Sunday, Asante Kotoko will play Vision FC away at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex to conclude their campaign.
