The Ghana football association has gone to an agreement with former Ghana Premier League and FA cup rights holders Startimes, to show the 2024/25 MTN FA Cup final between Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting club and Golden Kick sporting club that would be played at the Legon sports stadium on the 15th of June 2025. The announcement was made on Friday the 6th of June 2025. The communique shows that the game would be telecasted on Max TV a station that belongs to Startimes. Many would remember because they recently showed the unity cup that was played in the United kingdom. For now it's confirmed, the FA cup final would be aired on Max TV but it's in doubt for the other stations if they would be allowed to broadcast it too.
The ceremony drew a distinguished crowd, including GARFA Chairman Samuel Aboabire (popularly known as Katar), Vice Chairman Gabriel Godwin Kwao, and Daasobre Adu Asare, the GFA’s RFA Coordinator, who represented GFA President Kurt Okraku. Also in attendance were GARFA Patron H. H. D. Adika, Ghanaian goalkeeping legend Ben Owu, former Black Queens goalkeeper Fafali Godwin, former Liberty Professional Coach George Lamptey, GARFA Executive Council members, Frederick Aglago (CEO of Ashlid Sports), and representatives from SOCCABET and Game TV.
